    Mentors: Individuals age 18+ have exclusive access to our Mentor Portal. Here, you'll find guidance from mentors who are experts in a diverse array of professions.

    Stay Connected: With our monthly updates, you'll always be in the loop and will get access to new content and events.

  • Consistent Training: Participants must engage in at least 3 hours of martial arts training per week at a Budo Accelerator partner academy or dojo in your area.

    Quarterly Event Participation: Attendance is required at our quarterly events. Events will be held at our partner dojos. The upcoming 2024 dates are:

    -Saturday, April 13

    -Saturday, August 3

    -Saturday, December 7

    Annual Intensive: While not mandatory, it is highly recommended that participants attend an annual intensive. Options include a one-week summer program or, for UCI students, our academic year program.

    Commitment: Most students like the program so much they stay with it until college graduation, but you can opt out at the end of each quarter.

  • The program fee is $150 per quarter, not including a dojo/academy membership, which is also required for participation.

    We offer full and partial scholarships for accepted students in need of financial aid.

  • Our curriculum dilectly inks your martial arts training to leadership principles and practice. Core concepts and sample modules include:

    Autonomy

    Integrity, resilience, adaptability, critical thinking, time management

    Collaboration

    Social capital, engaging mentors, repairing relationships, assertive communication, verbal deescalation

    Self-awareness

    Nonverbal communication, stress resilience, identifying strengths
