What information do we collect?

Budo Accelerator may gather information (such as name, e-mail address and zip code) strictly for contact purposes, only when users opt to fill out a submission form to join our newsletter or inquire about us. In some cases we may ask for other optional information including additional contact information and certain demographic information (such as phone number and gender).

Our programs are for high school and college students, so some of the people who contact us are under 18. If you are under 18 and signing up for one of our programs, we may ask for a parent or guardian's e-mail address rather than your own. If you are a parent or guardian, you can ask to see, correct, or delete information we hold about your child at any time.

How do we use your information?

We may use your information to communicate about programs, events and information about our company to you via email. If you do not wish to receive these emails you will have the option to opt out of future mailings. We may also use your information to compile usage statistics and other data regarding website usage, including through Google Analytics, which places cookies in your browser. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our programs, and information you give us passes through them: Google (Google Workspace, Sheets, and Google Analytics), Givebutter and Donorbox (to process and receipt donations), and Resend (to send the emails you've asked for). They act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We will never sell or rent your name, e-mail address, or any other personally identifiable information, and we do not otherwise share your information with anyone else except where required by law.
